LLLAC or Live and Let Live Alano Club
The place for D. Irene. It was here she went to her first AA meeting and was welcomed into the sober community. It was here that she spent most of her days again drinking innumerable cups of coffee for she hadn't the money to buy food.
Weekends & Holidays
Most weekends were the same as weekdays, so were holidays
Not having money made life so much simpler if more stressful. There was nothing to do but come to the club sit on a bar stool and talk to the attendant or people who came in. Friendships happened this way. And one bad choice.
D. Irene learned many things and lost a few things in her new land.
