D. Irene Today

Today she has a girlfriend who is committed to their relationship.  Her girlfriend is a student at community college working toward a certificate.  D. Irene is the girlfriend's number one cheerleader.  They talk over academic decisions as well as personal ones.  

 

March 30, 2015, D. Irene had cataract surgery.  It went well, and recovery is going well also.  In a month the healing process will be over and D. Irene will have new glasses.  She is looking forward to a new pair of glasses as it has been nearly six years since she had a new pair.

 

June 11, 2014 D. Irene was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  She takes a minimum dose of medication and watches her diet to control it.

 

D. Irene was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1999.  She takes Lyrica to control the pain.  The Lyrica does a fantastic job of mitigating the pain.

 

 

Aside from her fibromyalgia and type 2 diabetes, D. Irene is healthy and happy
